Keep on Looking
A trial first take of a song I just created for fun, no idea where the lyrics came from ! Perhaps I was thinking about some people that are trying to find themselves and based it upon that, who knows ? I was tinkering and ended up with some chords that I thought sounded ok together, added a bit of humming, came up with some lyrics, then decided to make a trial recording, which I do not often I must admit.... I made a quick backingtrack using BiaB, a program I like to use sometimes to help me make a decision on what rhytm to choose etc. Anyhow, three hours later I ended up with this, including making the video, I am quite sure this is the quickest song I've ever made. I was not even planning on making it ! It just happened, and to be honest, they are usually the most fun ones to do for me. Here the very raw basics of a song I might finish one day....
I will always wonder why
Another trial first take of yet another song I did not plan to do. Again, it just came to me. As usual I use my little Höhner acoustic guitar with nylon strings to tinker with. My favourite guitar to create tunes on. Also it's quiet, so I don't disturb anyone. The recording was done with my Yamaha acoustic 12 string guitar. Again, the same story as the song above (keep on looking) only this one took a little longer as I did it in stages. Not sure how long but I guess it must have been anywhere between 4 to 5 hours somewhere .
I have no idea what to do with this yet, so I have put it aside, along with my other collection of unfinished creations I might stumble upon one day, still wondering what to do with it then no doubt !
